My specialty is photography, specifically social documentary photography. I fell in love with the power of visual story telling tree years ago and have developed my style ever since. My current and long-term project is exploring family. Particularly my family. I am documenting the ups and downs of family life, aiming to understand my mum’s world as a single parent who lives in a deprived county raising 4 children. The body of work is ongoing.
I am soon going to graduate from a Bachelors degree in Photography at the University of Plymouth. During the second year of the degree, The National Portrait gallery collaborated with five universities within the UK. My portrait, along side a few others, was selected to be exhibited in the gallery. This lead to me being part of a symposium where I spoke about my project.
